2019: at the 75th Anniversary celebration meeting in February, WM Tony Adams presented the PGM with a cheque securing the Lodge’s status as a Grand Patron of the Essex Grand Charity Festival 2022. The target by 2022 is to become a Double Grand Patron Lodge

November 2018: WBro Ian Bement presents the cheque from his master’s list to Southend Hospital Charity. They were very appreciative and would make sure the money reached the particular wards WBro Ian had requested.
2014: Fraternity members including Master Elect Trevor Suckling, and friends including Bro Tony Adams' wife Michelle, had their heads shave to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, following Bro Trevor’s teenage son, Luke, starting a course of treatment. The group raised more than £750
